There was a farmer who had many hens on his farm. He was very poor. He lived his family far from town. His life was simple. However, he lived happily with his family. One day , the farmer saw that one of his hens laid golden agg. He was surprised but he became very pleased. He took the golden egg to town and sold it for a good price.




With the money , he bought more to things for his family and they were very happy. On the next day , the hen laid another golden egg and the farmer sold it and bought more beautiful things to his family. Everyday the hen laid a golden egg and the farmer became richer and richer.


However, the farmer did not tell anybody about the hen. He kept that matter secret.
After some time, the farmer said to himself, "why should I wait to have one golden egg everyday? I will kill the hen and take out all the golden eggs at one time. There is no need for me to wait."




So, he killed the hen, but he did not find any golden eggs. He began to cry and he became very sad. He knew that he was a fool for being rash in his ded.




* This story teaches us an important lesson in life:

1- It teaches us that man must not be hasty in taking a decision.

2- It also teaches us that a continuos little thing is better than discontinued plenty.
